Often, those print sizes become lost on medium or large size wall.

When choosing the correct size prints for your walls, think about the width of the wall. On a 2 foot wide wall, an 8×10 inch or 11×14 inch print might be perfect. For larger walls I would suggest larger images so that the prints aren’t overcome by the extra wall space. For example, in a hallway display 3, 12×12 inch prints would be beautiful because the 3 images would encourage your eye to travel through the hallway wall space. Another example is a living room display. Here I would suggest a 16×20 inch, 20×24 inch prints or larger because living rooms tend to be one of the biggest rooms in the house, therefore, have more wall space to be covered.

This couple lives and breathes for each other so I am beyond thrilled to share with you some of the pictures from their wedding day.

 

Megan and Brian were married on St. Patrick’s Day at St. Henry’s Church in Monticello.  The reception followed at Rockwoods in Otsego.  Megan’s dream dress is from Heartstrings Bridal and flowers were delicately created by Shelly at Petals to Pines.

Since then her daughters (who are now 18 and 7) have worn it too. Last year my sister panicked in the thought that she had lost it forever. Magically it appeared and it was brought over to my house for my little girls to enjoy. They sure did enjoy it.

The first picture of is Grace.  You will notice that I placed her in a foot of snow and she didn’t know how to move in it.

The second picture  is of Claire modeling the jacket. You will notice that I tried to get her to stay put in one place by putting her in a foot of snow, but that didn’t work. Off she ran. :)

I just love my silly girls.  Now if I could just convince my older boys to model the jacket.  Just kidding…that would be mean and totally unlike me.

One more thought before I let you enjoy the pictures, I really think that there is something beautiful about winter portraits.  I am not sure why, but us Minnesotans don’t take advantage of the winter wonderland for portraits as much as I think we should.  Especially when we can create images that are as gorgeous as these.
